1. About RidersRags

RidersRags is an online classifieds marketplace for second-hand motorbike clothing and accessories. We provide a platform for private sellers to list items and for buyers to browse and make contact. RidersRags is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

2. Seller Responsibilities

  • Listings must be accurate, honest, and not misleading.
  • Only second-hand motorbike clothing and accessories may be listed. Bikes, parts, and non-gear items are not permitted.
  • Sellers must own the item they are listing.
  • Sellers must respond to genuine buyer enquiries promptly.
  • Counterfeit or stolen goods are strictly prohibited.
  • Safety-critical items (helmets, protective gear) must be accurately described, including any damage or expiry.

3. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Buyers purchase at their own risk. RidersRags makes no warranty as to the condition or safety of listed items.
  • Buyers should inspect items before purchase where possible.
  • For safety-critical items (helmets, back protectors), buyers should verify condition and check for damage, age, and impact history.
  • Buyers should arrange payment and collection/delivery directly with the seller.

4. Prohibited Items

The following may not be listed on RidersRags:

  • Motorcycles, scooters, or any motorised vehicles
  • Mechanical parts (engines, exhausts, tyres, etc.)
  • Stolen goods
  • Counterfeit branded gear
  • Non-motorbike clothing or accessories
  • Anything illegal under UK law

5. Liability

RidersRags is a classifieds platform only. We do not handle payment, inspect items, or verify sellers. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from transactions between buyers and sellers. Use common sense — meet in a safe public place, test the gear, and never pay without inspecting.

6. Listing Moderation

We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any listing at our discretion, without notice or explanation, including listings that are misleading, offensive, prohibited, or otherwise unsuitable.

7. Privacy

Seller email addresses are never shown publicly. Buyer messages are forwarded to the seller via our email system. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of RidersRags after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
